Shipped the Mat
BJJ documentation area under the Body wing. Volume 01 of Brian Glick's "Only Way Out" transcribed verbatim. Graph-native schema — positions as nodes, moves as edges.
The Mat is the BJJ documentation area I've been wanting under the Body wing. It shipped today. Volume 01 of Brian Glick's Only Way Out is transcribed verbatim, with a Bilibili timestamp button on every section heading — click one and the source video opens at that exact second. The three core principles and four foundational skills each get their own page, with the relevant passage of the transcript quoted verbatim and a link back to the source moment.
The architecture is graph-native. Positions are nodes, moves are edges. A move page declares fromPosition and toPosition in its frontmatter; position pages will auto-list their outgoing moves as the graph densifies. Zero move pages today, because Volume 01 is foundations — no named techniques yet. The first edges land when I embody the first technique from Volume 02.
Same rule as software documentation: only what already exists has a page. No roadmap, no "coming soon," no locked placeholders. The sparseness today is honest — it's where I actually am.
It's the companion to the Axioms essay. That essay argued the art has first principles; this area tries to operationalize them.
Shipped the changelog apprentice
A post-commit hook hands every commit to Claude Opus 4.7. Most get skipped. The ones that ship write themselves into five surfaces.
Rebuilt the education page as a docs-native sourced reference
Rewrote /docs/about/education from a flat course list into a sourced reference. Every course expands to the official SBU Undergraduate Bulletin entry. 38 courses, 14 departments, grades color-coded without shame.
