Dropped seven essays
25,000 words of long-form writing in a single push, including the Axioms piece that later became a voice anchor for the whole site.
Shipped seven essays to the blog in one pass — roughly 25,000 words. The anchor piece is An Attempt to Find the Axioms of Jiu-Jitsu, which started as a reflection after a Thursday-night roll and expanded into a meditation on whether grappling has first principles the way geometry does. The other six cover the correspondence between truth and untruth, the cost of looking closely, lossy compression in systems, why love needs no reason, building Prometheus, and going from email chaos to AI automation.
This was the first time the blog landed as a serious surface of the site rather than a thin placeholder. The Axioms piece later became a load-bearing voice anchor — it's one of the inputs the changelog apprentice reads to calibrate against when drafting future entries.
