Redesigned the whole site
Design system with primitive tokens, Instrument typography, the Explore component, command palette, global search, Interview page. The same day as the AI infrastructure push, I rebuilt the interface on top of it.
Same day as the AI infrastructure push, I rebuilt the visual layer. Swapped the typography to Instrument Serif + Instrument Sans. Architected the design system around primitive tokens — three OKLCH variables generating the full light and dark palettes algorithmically, with every semantic color derived from them. Built the Explore component for page discovery. Added a command palette and global search. Shipped the Interview Me page with 20 real Q&A pairs, expanded to 50 later the same week. Overhauled the homepage for discoverability — cross-page linking, consistent hierarchy. Removed the bottom dock; it was navigation competing with navigation.
One afternoon of infrastructure. One evening of design. Both on the same commit trail.
Retroactively documenting on 2026-04-18. Backdated to the actual ship date.
Built the AI-native skeleton
llms.txt variants, MCP server, knowledge graph, JSON Feed, profile API, AI discovery manifest, JSON-LD schemas. The infrastructure underneath everything that came after.
Migrated the site to Fardin Docs
Everything now lives under /docs/*. 24 projects, 50 interview Q&A, and 7 essays imported as MDX.
